The Fostoria Area Historical Society is formed for the pursuit of the history of Fostoria and the
surrounding townships of Jackson and Louden Townships in Seneca County, Perry Township in Wood County and Washington Township
in Hancock County.
Such pursuit shall include the gatheringand dissemination of historical knowledge, the collection
and preservation of things historical and the fostering of an appreciation of our historical heritage for the education and
benefit of the Society's members and the general public.
